The Pentax CAX80-160C is a heavy-duty, bare shaft horizontal centrifugal pump end constructed entirely from AISI 316 stainless steel in compliance with EN 733 European standards. Built for severe industrial environments, chemical liquid transfer, food and beverage processing, reverse osmosis (RO) pre-treatment, and high-purity water supply, it offers supreme chemical and corrosion endurance.
Designed as a bare shaft pump unit (without motor), the CAX80-160C features a DN100 suction port and DN80 delivery port. It connects via flexible couplings to standard electric motors (including high-efficiency IE3 motors) or emergency diesel drivers on customized baseplates.
Constructed for maximum longevity under harsh operating conditions, the pump incorporates an all-AISI 316 stainless steel casing, seal plate, impeller, and shaft extension, along with a robust 28 mm Ceramic-Graphite-NBR mechanical seal. Supporting operating pressures up to 10 bar and handling temperatures from -10°C to +90°C, the Pentax CAX series offers optional upgrades such as AISI 316 counter-flange kits and gland packing seals for sand or slurry applications.
